In 2018, David Brill placed first in the senior division of the Grand Prize Virtuoso International Music Competition, Vienna, Austria. In 2018, he also won first prize in the senior division at the Golden Classical Music Awards, International Competition and gave his solo debut in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall in New York City on November 2, 2018. Additionally, he is a three-time winner of the Lynn Conservatory Chamber Competition under the auspices of the Lyric Chamber Society of New York.

In 2016, David won first prize in the Lynn University Concerto Competition in which he performed as a soloist playing the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto with the Lynn Philharmonia Orchestra.

In 2015, David won the grand prize for the Concerto Competition at the Philadelphia International Music Festival, as well as the Bach Double Competition, which he played with a member of the Philadelphia Orchestra conducted by Maestro Cristian Macelaru.
