Accompanists

Belgian pianist Sarah Bottiau (born in 1998) is an active performer. She has notably appeared at the Concertgebouw Bruges with musicians from the Royal Chamber Orchestra of Wallonia, at the Théâtre du Parc in Brussels during the Classissimo Festival, and at Salle Cortot in Paris. She has also performed in Chicago, Switzerland, and Italy.

Born in Taiyuan, Zhuojun CHEN began her first steps in music at the age of four and was already scoring prizes as early as ten at the Xing Hai competition as well as the Yue Fu competition in China. This early success led her to meet great masters of the piano like Jiang Li Ping and Xu Zhong at the Conservatory of Wuhan. When she scored first in the piano examination of Shanxi, she chose to continue perfecting and developing her skills with her early teacher Cao Yi and then graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree at the College of Music, University of Shanxi. During this time, she also had the chance to study with famous Chinese pianists Chen Yin Li, Yang Jun, Guan Chang Xin.

Markiyan Popil was born in Lviv, Ukraine, in 1995 and began his musical journey at the piano under the guidance of his mother, Olena Popil. He continued his studies at the S. Krushelnytska Specialized Music School in Lviv, where he was mentored by Lidia Kryh and Oksana Rapita, and later at the M. Lysenko National Academy of Music. In 2015, supported by the Inspiratum Foundation, he moved to Belgium to study with Sergei Edelmann at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp, where he obtained his Master’s degree magna cum laude.

Cansu Şanlıdağ is an artist whose passion shines through with a vibrant and warm personality. Her commitment to sharing her art naturally led her towards the chamber music repertoire, with a particular focus on Lieder, a realm that allows her to merge her passion for literature and the arts. Much like her personality, her sound is richly profound, conveying intense emotions to her audience.
